I am currently the HSCL (Home School Community Liaison) Co-ordinator. This means that I am the “Home – School Link” for parents, school and the community. As I have been in the Gaelscoil for a number of years, many of you know me and I hope to meet those I don’t very soon.
My role will be to try and ensure that your child’s Primary School years will be as enjoyable and as trouble-free as possible.
I am available to discuss matters of concern with parents in their own homes or at school, whichever the parent prefers. I will be organising in-school activities and courses for parents during the year. The parents and children will really enjoy them and benefit from these.
I will also be available to advise and support parents on education-related issues such as study skills and the promoting of a good home learning environment.
Remember I am here for the benefit of you and your children. If you have any ideas, concerns, opinions or requests share them with me.
I am available here on: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.45am – 2.30pm. (If you can’t find me please leave a message with Miriam in the office and I will get back to you.)
Cristíona Mhic Cionnaith, Home, School, Community, Co-ordinator
Remember to While social media may help raise awareness, it can also provide misinformation. It is very easy to become overwhelmed while scrolling through headline after headline. Remember to limit time spent on social media and try out alternative activities instead.
